However, the process may differ slightly.

The first step is to locate the button that releases the backup key inside the fob. This button is usually located on the back of your fob, close to the Saab Logo. Use a flathead to insert the screwdriver in the small hole in this button. This should be sufficient to allow you to open the fob case to allow you to change the battery.

After the new battery CR1632 is installed You can then reassemble the remote key fob. You can then program it to your car. The entire process shouldn't be more than an hour. It's a simple process that doesn't require any special tools.
